Mrs. Anderson

Mrs. Anderson has been the head athletic trainer at Desert Mountain since 2011. In 2013, she brought the CTE Sports Medicine curriculum to Desert Mountain and has been teaching the Introduction and Advanced classes ever since. Mrs. Anderson graduated magna cum laude with her B.S. in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training from Missouri State University in 2003, where she then served as adjunct faculty in the athletic training program and worked as an athletic trainer at a local high school before moving to Phoenix in 2009. Before coming to Desert Mountain, Mrs. Anderson worked as the assistant athletic trainer at a high school in the West Valley. In addition to her teaching and athletic training duties at Desert Mountain, Mrs. Anderson is also on the board of directors of the Arizona Athletic Trainers' Association.
