Malcolm Leinwohl is a dedicated career Biology teacher with many years of classroom experience, respected by students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. He has taught hands-on/minds-on inquiry oriented Biology and Advanced Placement Biology at The Oakwood School in Los Angeles, Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia, and Scottsdale Unified School District. In Fairfax County Public Schools, in addition to his classroom teaching, Mr. Leinwohl was a trainer for new Biology teachers in the district and served for 12 years as science department chair at two different high schools. He also served as a teacher mentor with the Early Identification Program at George Mason University helping prepare and inspire underserved populations for post secondary education in the Northern Virginia area. Mr. Leinwohl is an Adolescent and Young Adult (Science) National Board Certified Teacher. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Cincinnati and Master of Education in Social Foundations from the University of Virginia.
