Ms. Henderson

Ms. Henderson teaches General Music and Chorus at Cochise Elementary School and has been a music educator since she graduated from ASU in 1979 with a Bachelors of Music degree. She has also taught elementary music in the Gilbert, Washington, and Paradise Valley school districts. Her career has also included administration opportunities, including acting as Education Coordinator for the Phoenix Symphony Association for seven years. She has also owned and operated her own business, Maggie’s Music Studio, in North Carolina, where she taught Kindermusik classes and private Piano. Ms. Henderson served on the board of the Arizona Orff Association for several years, and is a current member of Music Teachers National Association, Phoenix Music Teachers Association and the Arizona Education Association.
