Mrs. Souza

Mrs. Souza has been a teacher in SUSD since 2003. She taught grades 1, 2, and 5 at Anasazi Elementary until 2013 and currently teaches 8th grade science at Cocopah MS. Mrs. Souza earned a B.A. in Elementary Education from UofA and went on to receive a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from ASU. Mrs. Souza is approved in Middle Grades General Science 6-8, and has endorsements in Early Childhood, English as a Second Language, Middle Grades 5-9 and Reading Specialist K-12. During the 2016-2017 school year, Mrs. Souza was selected as Cocopah's Charros Teacher of the Year.​
