Mrs. Ritt

Laurie Ritt has been teaching in Scottsdale Unified School District since 2002. She also taught 10 years in Poway, California. She is a National Board Certified Teacher, graduated from San Diego State University with her Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies and Education and a minor in Psychology, and received her Master Degree in Curriculum from the University of California, San Diego. She was honored as Teacher of the Year in 1999 at Garden Road Elementary School and also in 2008 at Aztec Elementary School. In her career, Mrs. Ritt taught students in kindergarten through sixth grade. Enlightening and expanding the minds of children is part of Mrs. Jones-Ritt's heart and soul.
