Mrs. Scropos - Policies & Goals

Policies:

1. Expect Respect - We respect ourselves, property, and others while at school/in the classroom.

2. Listen Closely - We listen when others are speaking.

3. Be Safe - We are safe both inside and outside the classroom.

4. Follow Directions - We follow directions the first time.

5. Stay Focused - We stay focused on the task at hand (what we are working on).

6. Work Hard - We always work hard and give our best effort. We don't settle for anything less than our best.

7. Be Brave - We are "risk-takers, mistake-makers" in this classroom; and we aren't afraid to make a mistake. Mistakes are proof that we are learning, growing, and trying.

8. Ask for Help - We are not afraid to ask for help when we need it. School is a place to learn and grow, and we may need help to be successful on our first try.

9. Use Manners - We are polite to others. We say "please," "thank you," and "excuse me." We are on time to events and to turn in assignments.

10. Have Fun - School is a lot of hard work; but it is also a lot of fun! If we all work together, we will have a fantastic year!

To create a culture of shared and active leadership so that each member brings their own areas of expertise and works collaboratively to sustain improvements in teaching, in learning, and throughout the community.

Classroom Goal:

To hold and achieve rigorous academic standards.

To nurture each student's potential for success through daily academic and social growth opportunities in the classroom.

To be committed, supportive, and involved in the academic and social growth of each student.
