Ms. O'Rourke

Ms. O’Rourke has taught middle school English in California and Arizona. She majored in English and German at Baylor University, and earned a Masters in Special Education at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is a Fellow with the National Writing Project and became a National Board Certified Teacher in 1999. Ms. O’Rourke is an avid reader, student of theatre, and is actively engaged in professional development. She has been with SUSD since 2011 and thoroughly enjoys teaching in the DCMS community where she lives with her family.
