Mrs. Maryhew began her teaching career in 1992 in Schaumburg, Illinois. She taught Physical Education at both the elementary and junior high levels and also coached high school volleyball before moving to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1997. Mrs. Maryhew has been teaching Physical Education in Scottsdale Unified School District since 1999. She also coached volleyball for 4 years within the Scottsdale district. She presently teaches at Cochise Elementary School. Mrs. Maryhew earned her B.S. in Physical Education from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN. She went on to earn her M.ED. from Northern Arizona University in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Maryhew also has an endorsement in Structured English Immersion.
