Mrs. Hooley

Mrs. Hooley joined SUSD in 2001. She has taught a variety of grades, including kindergarten, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and Special Education. This year she has "returned to her roots" and is teaching second grade again! She was chosen as DCES 2006/2007 Charro's Educator of the Year, holds an ESL endorsement, and is a Level 1 Google Educator. In 2016, she was selected to participate in the Mickelson ExxonMobile Teachers Academy. She has applied for and received two grants: The SUSD Excellence in Teaching Grant and the CenturyLink Technology Grant. She is currently an Instructional Teacher Leader at DCES and the teacher representative for our PTO. She is dedicated to engaging, educating, and empowering every student, every day.
