Welcome

Mrs. Tutnick has been a choral music educator for over thirty years, and has been at Saguaro since 1995. She teaches the choir classes, Music Appreciation and The History of Rock and Roll. Over her career Mrs. Tutnick has been honored by Walmart and The Scottsdale Charros as a Teacher of the Year and by the Arizona Music Educators Association and Arizona Flynn Foundation as a Distinguished Educator. She made her conducting debut in Carnegie Hall with her Varsity choir, Voices of Saguaro, in April of 2016. The group has also performed her arrangement of the national anthem in Fenway Park, Wrigley Field and AT&T Park at professional baseball games. The Advanced Vocal Ensemble at Saguaro has performed in concert with entertainers Josh Groban, Bobby McFerrin, The Manhattan Transfer, Foreigner, and Journey.
