Mrs. Coates

Mrs. Coates is a proud fifth grade teacher at Anasazi Elementary. She has been teaching since 2006 when she graduated from Arizona State University with her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She has had the joy of teaching at Anasazi Elementary since 2012 and was fortunate enough to be awarded Charros Teacher of the Year in 2015-2016. . She enjoys working with students because seeing their growth from year to year and their smiles when they have accomplished something new is quite rewarding! As much as she loves working with students day to day, she also has a passion for health and fitness. With this passion Ms. Wilson decided to pursue her master's degree in Physical Education and graduated from ASU in 2008. Her goal is to also share her love for being healthy with students. Ms. Wilson has also earned endorsements in the following areas: Gifted Education, Early Childhood Education, ESL (English as a Second Language), and Physical Education.
