Mrs. Mitchell

Starting as an Art student, Mrs. Mitchell began her academic career as a Sculptor. After graduating with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in General Studio Arts with a minor in Art History, she then went on to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in both Sculpture and Metalsmithing with a minor in Spanish. Mrs. Mitchell later returned to school to get her Master of Arts in Teaching in Curriculum and Instruction, specializing in Visual Arts and Spanish. Mrs. Mitchell began teaching Visual Arts at Pima Elementary during the 2016-2017 school year. A graduate of Southern Illinois University, her background includes Art History, Ceramics, Sculpture, Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Graphics Design, Glassworking and Metalsmithing.
