Ms. Colton

“So often you find that the students you are trying to inspire, are the ones that end up inspiring you!” Sean Junkins. Born and raised in Chicago, Ms. Colton was one of the 1st in her family to attend college and graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Finance. While raising her family, she began working part time in the SUSD in 2000. She loved being in the classroom so much, she went back to school and earned her teaching certificate from SCC. She began teaching full time in SUSD in 2009. She is highly qualified to teach English Language Arts and has her Middle School ELA endorsement. In 2012 Ms. Colton was the recipient of the Channel 3 Silver Apple Award! She is excited to share her love of learning with her students at Mohave this year!
