REQUIRED EQUIPMENT FOR BAND STUDENTS

Reed players (Clarinets and Saxophones) all need a box of reeds. Size 2.5 (2&1/2) for beginners and size 3 for students who have been playing for over 2 years. I also recommend purchasing a reed guard to help protect and prolong the life of your reeds. Advanced band players should purchase Vandoren brand reeds as they produce a much better tone and last longer.

***Not allowing me to set links, but search Amazon.com for either Rico (cheaper) or Vandoren (higher quality reeds) All 6-8 grade students can now be on size 3 reeds. (Vandoren reeds last longer and are not that much more expensive)

Milano music in Mesa is also currently open for business.

Brass players (trumpets, trombones, baritones and tubas) all need a bottle of valve oil. I have a few of these available at school for purchase, or you can purchase at a local music store or online. (listed below). Economy oil is $3 or Blue Juice (better brand) is $5.....if I have it available. I asked the music store to leave some with me to sell.

YOU MUST use valve oil. If you do not, you could ruin your instrument!! If you run out or don't have any please search on Amazon.com or Milano music in Mesa is currently open for business.

All this can be purchased at any local music store such as Milanos, Music in Arts, Music Masters, Guitar Center and others. They can also be purchased online. A very good online music store is Woodwind and Brasswind: wwbw.com or amazon.com

ADVANCED BAND MEMBERS NEED A 3 RING BINDER AND SHEET PROTECTORS. I do have some binders available if you are unable to purchase one. I also sell sheet protectors (8 sheets for $1)
