Mrs. Capps

Mrs. Capps has taught 7th grade Language Arts in the Scottsdale District since 2015. She teaches both general education and honors level classes. She builds students’ academic confidence by fostering a strong sense of curiosity and a love of learning. Through high interest novel studies and detailed grammar instruction, she strengthens students’ reading and writing skills, preparing them for the rigors of high school. Mrs. Capps earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Kansas, and her Masters in Secondary Education from Grand Canyon University.
