During the summer months, many bilingual students primarily speak their native language at home. Ignite Summer Camp provides a unique opportunity for students to strengthen their English skills in an exciting and interactive way!
Each day, campers will explore a new theme, incorporating vocabulary-building activities tailored to different learning styles. Art and writing will go hand in hand, allowing students to express themselves creatively while enhancing their language skills. Math will come to life through hands-on activities like role-playing as cashiers, helping students develop both practical and academic skills.
Since emergent bilingual students often miss out on practicing essential everyday vocabulary, we will create immersive experiences like scavenger hunts to reinforce real-world language use. Through engaging, confidence-boosting activities, students will have fun while improving their English in a supportive environment.
Give your child the advantage of practicing English in a way that feels like play. Ignite their confidence, communication skills, and excitement for learning this summer!
