Scratch is fun, flexible and free! Scratch encourages collaboration and playful experimentation, it supports thinking and making, it can connect us to our interests and cultivates community. As children create with Scratch, they learn to think creatively, work collaboratively, and reason systematically. As a programming language Scratch has a lower floor and a high ceiling. Meaning it can be understood by your average 7 year old and equally it can be used to challenge your most able students.
