Superior Timber & Stone was started by Austin Burchat in Thunder Bay. Every job gets our full attention, start to finish.
We've always liked things with character, things that have a story behind them. Every home is a little different, so we'd rather build something that fits yours than something off a plan.
The name comes from home. Lake Superior and the Sleeping Giant are the backdrop to everything we do here. We chose timber and stone because they're honest materials that last, and that's how we'd like to work.
What we value is simple: be honest, be someone people can depend on, and stay calm when things get hard. We want to build something that lasts, and do work we can stand behind.
Thunder Bay is home, so we give back where we can by volunteering on local builds, mentoring young tradespeople, and helping out when the community needs it.
