We will be holding our annual Public Forum on May 1, 2024 at 6:00 pm at the Board Office, 3025 Tower Avenue.
The public hearing is an opportunity for parents of Indian children and teachers, representatives of Indian Tribes on Indian lands located within 50 miles of any school that the agency will serve if such Tribes have any children in such school, Indian organizations, and, if appropriate, Indian students from secondary schools to understand the program and to offer recommendations regarding the program.
The purpose of the American Indian Parent Education Committee (AIPEC) is to assure parent participation in providing programs and services for American Indian students. The Parent Committee is instrumental in providing parents who have American Indian students with information and opportunities to effectively express their views concerning all aspects of education that affect their children.
