All of our sessions will be hosted on the 7th Floor of SUNY Korea's A Building in our Intensive English Classrooms. These classrooms include long desks that seat two, but are moveable. Please be advised that "Small Talks" sessions will not be able to rearrange the classrooms, due to their shortened time allotments.
Each room is equipped with a computer, projector, and screen. All computers include a microphone and speakers. In most cases, presenters will only need to bring a USB with their presentation. The consoles are user-friendly, and set to English. If you wish to use your own laptop, be advised you will need a HDMI cord. Volunteers will be available in each room to assist.
Due to the small size of this symposium, we cannot provide accommodations. The nearest hotels are located in the Songdo Central Park area, which can be accessed by bus and metro. Kakao taxi is recommended, as the area can be quite busy on a weekend.
Songdo Central Park should be quite lovely the weekend of the event, as the Cherry Blossoms are starting to bloom.
The Incheon Global Campus is generally closed on the weekend. There is a sandwich/bread shop and cafe, Eats Nature, that has some hours, and an eMart24. However, we are located next to Triple Street and the Hyundai Premium Outlets. With options available from popular chains like Mom's Touch, Papa John's, Texas Roadhouse, Shake Shack, and Subway, as well as smaller chains and local restaurants. Delivery is available via Coupang Eats, but many places are within a short walking distance with quick service-particularly in Sharp, and the Triple Street D and C buildings.
