Diagnostic Reflection:
My writing process for this essay was actually quite fun. I came up with ideas by almost imagining I'm this grown adult till angry about some kid that bullied me years ago. The essay took me about an hour to do and i found it quite easy. In my revision process regrettably I realized my mistake. I decided to just jump straight into the project without fully reading the directions. In the end i had to rewrite my first and last paragraph to make sure the essay was being read by the correct audience now. The feedback also gave me some new ideas like having the wasps be used in combat, which i used in my final essay. All in all I got a lot of enjoyment out of this writing process, i just need to be sure to READ ALL THE DIRECTIONS next time!

Carrie: the musical (reddit/discord)
In spring of 1988 Carrie: The musical opened on broadway to horrible reviews. Running for a total of 5 preformances, it is known to be one of broadways biggest flops. Two years ago i joined the reddit and discord fanbase with the goal of trying to find recordings to this show. I have since left because why on earth do people get so angry and fight over CARRIE THE MUSICAL?
1977-1979 caddilac (facebook group)
I own a 1978 caddy coupe DeVille and before coming to jamestown daily drove it. I joined this facebook group to have people help me with restoring it and basically to show off. I'm still in the group and check new posts from time to time.
My portville friend group
9th grade was the year my friendgroup got together. We have tons of common intrests, experiences, and values together. I still hang out with these guys every weekend so yes, im still very much in this discorce. From being in covid together, the shows and plays weve watched together, the concerts, the fights, the reunions, these people are my family.
DCA Refelction:
I came up with ideas for this topic by asking my friends what memories did we all share together that brought us together. The writing process was made by listening to music that we lisened to during the time, hense the name "slipping through my fingers". The draft itself took around 4 days to complete. My revisions where mostly fixing gramer mistakes ive made and overall making the story flow more. The hard part about writing this essay was making the story flow with big jumps in time. These people didnt go for more then 4 days without seeing each other. Triming this story down is what took the longest.
Midway Reflection
I believe this class is helping me organize my essays better. My highschool classes didnt give us much freedom or teach us professionally.
I am learning about different perspectives on issues. As well as learning how to read about about different perspectives with critical reading skills. In the past I havent really tackled argumenitve essays.
I take all critism and use it to create the best possible essay I can.
Im quickly learning the expectaions of my essays.
Ive always enjoyed looking deeper into certain texts. And this class is helping me construct a peice that provkes more though from its readers.
These past few weeks havent been the best for certain situations, the makeup assigments have helped me not fall behind.
I have been a good participent in class. My favorite type of particapation is the group activites.
I will be honest I've forgotten to read a few of the homework readings but most of the time i get to it.
I have yet to miss a deadlione yet!
My favorite thing about class so far would be getting to explore different types of writting. My least favorite would be adjusting to a new way of learning.
RA Brainstorm activity
-I saw tons of examples of logos in this article, the author used tons of outside sorces and information for thier claim. Such as asking Ai itself what it thinks of the issue
- I also see a bunch of ethos in this article such as the author being a linguist
-I see some pathos with her anger within the article
-I see the use of karios by her use of urgancy for the current subject.
RA essay reflection
I Idenified the retorical appeals by scanning the article for certain word choices. I also read the article multiple times and took notes.
My writing process inculded multiple browsers open. One browser held the "RA Assignment Sheet" in order to check back and make sure everything was correct. Another browser was the article for quotes and rereads. And the final browser was the essay itself of course.
Some co-productive forces that helped me was going back home for peace and quite in order to write and keep away from distractions with some tea.
The first draft took 4 days to complete from Monday to Friday. With about 30-45 mintuies a day.
Almost all feedback I decided to fix. All up into the last one in which Dj was just plan wrong.
The hardest part with this essay was getting the energy to complete it, however it was much easier to accomplish when I was by myself.
CTA Brainstorm
When people talk about A.I., they are mainly concerned about student cheating,losing creativity, and its effect on the job market. My take on this issue is almost all the points and criticism is valued.
CTA Relfection
I picked what my position would be on this topic from personal experiences with seeing peers become frustrated from their courses due to the use of A.I.
My writing process for this essay started with struggling to write the topic, the articles provided me with information to dive deeper into the topic.
A co-productive force that affected me as I wrote this essay was procrastination. Causing me to write the last few pages in one day.
It took me around 4 days in total to write my first draft, 2 of them being planning and the last writing.
The feedback I was given was to extend my essay and to use more of the sources provided, I took this into consideration and improved my essay by following the rubric guidlines.
Something that was challenging about this essay was pulling more information from the articles instead of making my essay mostly based on personal experience.
