October: King of kings

We’re in the time of Samuel, when the Israelites were pushing for an earthly king, not realizing God was the only king they’d ever need! Kids will explore 1 and 2 Samuel and learn a memory verse from Psalms.

This Month’s Biblical Theme Is: God is King

God is King, reigning with absolute authority, justice and love over all creation. As the sovereign Ruler, His power is unmatched, and His wisdom guides the universe with perfect order and purpose. Unlike the earthly king the Israelites cried out for, God’s reign is eternal and unchanging, filled with mercy and grace for His people. He governs with a heart of compassion, inviting all to find refuge under His divine protection and provision. As King, He calls His followers to honor Him with reverence and obedience, promising an everlasting kingdom of peace and joy for those who trust in Him.
