When does the Learning Center (LC) open and close?

The LC opens at 7:30am and closes at 4:00pm on all school days when school is in session!

How can I find books? What about databases?

You can search for books in Destiny Discover. You can also use Destiny Discover to access our databases! Just click on the databases tab when you search. To see a full list of our databases, and to access each one individually, go to the Student Research page.

How do I check out a book?

You can visit the LC when Ms. Gray is there and she will help you check out a book. You can also try our new self checkout station.

First, type your name into the self checkout station.

Next, scan your book's barcode with the self checkout station's barcode scanner.

Wait for the "Ok!" sound. You're all set!

How many books can I check out at once?

Students can check out 5 books from the LC at a time.

How long can I keep LC materials?

Students can keep LC materials for 2 weeks.

Can I renew a book?

Yes! You can renew a book up to 10 times as long as there aren't pending hold requests on it.

What happens if I lose a book?

Accidents happen. Talk to Ms. Gray as soon as possible and we can work out a plan for replacing the book!
