FCCLA has been active at SHS for many years.  It has been a small club, usually with just a handful of members.  Through the years many students have competed In the Competitive events and gone to State with thier competitions.  SHS has even hosted state Officers. FCCLA Is a National organization that has members from almost every state In the US. It encompasses National and State fundraisers, Safe Driving campaigns, a wide variety of competitions and skill events.  Some competitive events Include:  Focus on Children, Job Interview, Healthy You, Baking & Pastry, Chapter In Review, Leadership, Public Policy, Interior Design and Fashion Construction.  

Students may compete at the Regional Level (Mid January) to go to the State Level (Early March), then If scored high enough they may go to the National Leadership Conference (End of June) to compete.
