An essential part of any secondary education schooling is the activity program. Included in the activity program are extra-curricular or co-curricular clubs, projects, programs and activities.
Activity programs provide students the opportunity to build relationships and connect to the school. Using the democratic process, students learn to work in groups for a common goal, learn to lead, and learn to follow. Club activities permit students to pursue and enrich personal interests. Participants will be required to follow the Activity/Club Code.
The executive council is made up of the ASB officers and the presidents of each class. The executive council is responsible for final passage of proposals that have passed through the student council regarding ASB activities and functions. The executive council is responsible for all school wide elections and for approval of all ASB expenditures. The council can make recommendations to the administration of the school in regard to policy and procedure of the school, but cannot change those rules on its own.
