In our classroom we have rewards and consequences for behavior and responsibilites!
First, let's take a look at our Classroom Rules:
1. Follow directions.
2. Keep hands and feet to yourself.
3. Always do your best.
4. When someone is speaking, make sure you are a listener.
5. Be respectful to teachers and classmates.
Consequences for NOT following rules:
Green Card- Great Day! You didn't pull a card today!
Yellow Card- Warning
Orange Card- Miss one recess or other logical consequence
Red Card- Miss recess or other logical consequence and write a note to family on how behavior will change
Blue Card- Go to the office (Student is written up)
Consequences for GOOD behavior:
Earn individual tickets for a chance to get a prize out of our Prize Box during our Friday drawings.
Earn CORE Cash
Students unload buses at 7:30. They will begin each day by choosing their lunch option (moving their lunch pins) and turning in their FROG (Firsties Really Organized and Growing) folders. Students will then work on morning work until the 8:00 bell. Each day consists of the following schedule:
8:10-10:15 Reading Block
10:30 Lunch
11:15 - 3:00 Writing, Science/Social Studies, Specials, Math
*Students may bring a water bottle each day. They must take these home each night to be cleaned. (unless you send in a disposable)
Monday: Computer Lab
Tuesday: Music
Wednesday: Art (students need to bring an art shirt)
Thursday: Library (Students should return their book each week to exchange)
Friday: Gym (students are required to wear gym shoes)
