Reading Eggs is a program we use at school that is a great way for students to build literacy skills independently. Students are encouraged to practice at home too. Last year your child had separate passwords to use, but this year they do not. I sent home a sheet to show you how to get there using clever, if you need that again, please let me know.
htttps://www.spellingcity.com/users/mcadamso Click here to play word games with sight words. These words have not been updated for the 2019-2020 year, but feel free to still play.
Below you will find the list of sight words to study each week. These will be sent home on the Friday of the week before we begin that Lesson. I suggest cutting those apart and using them as flashcards to practice with your child. It is also helpful if you have your child use them in a sentence of their own. These do not need to be written or turned in to me.
I have also given a link to Vocabulary/Spelling City.com which includes sight words (HFW) by lesson. Feel free to go ahead of the lesson we are currently studying. There are games that can be played with each list of words.
