BES Music Class

Music class at Bright Elementary is all about connecting each student with something unique in the world of music, as well as connecting them with one another. Through singing, playing instruments, and moving, students will learn basic concepts of music theory, historical context, and vocal and instrumental performance. They will learn teamwork, confidence, independence, and responsibility; they will learn to compose, improvise, interpret, create, move, and reflect. Because every child is coming from a different background and possesses a unique set of skills, all I can ask is that my students try their absolute best and step out of their comfort zone when the opportunity presents itself.
