System Software, I/O Systems, and Operating Systems LAB.
WELCOME TO SiSoLab !!
We are looking for self-motivated graduate students and undergraduate interns who are interested in doing researches in system software including operating systems, storage systems, distributed systems, and database systems.
SiSoLab (System Software, I/O Systems, Operating Systems Lab) focuses on building scalable efficient system software by optimizing kernel I/O paths, accelerating storage subsystems, and improving coordination between runtime environments and the operating system. Our research leverages modern technologies such as eBPF, NVMe, and persistent memory to enhance performance across the entire system software stack.
In addition to academic guidance and access to state-of-the-art computing resources, you will have opportunities to publish your work in top-tier domestic and international conferences and journals. These experiences will prepare you for a successful research career in either academia or industry.
If you are interested in joining the lab, please contact Prof. Jiwoong Park at jwpark12 [at] sungshin.ac.kr.
