CAN I ENROLL MY CHILD AT CRESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL?
2. WHAT IS OPEN ENROLLMENT?
Open enrollment allows a parent to apply to enroll their child at a school for which their home address is not zoned.
This application process is intended to increase students’ access to educational opportunities within Sumter School District.
A request must be made to attend a school that has an academic program that is not available at the school for which a student is zoned to attend.
Acceptance is contingent upon meeting prerequisites (if any) for the requested program.
3. WHAT IS AN OUT-OF-ZONE REQUEST?
An out-of-zone request allows a parent to apply to enroll their child at a school for which their home address is not zoned.
This application process is to address situations that occur outside of the open enrollment process to include hardships.
Documentation must be provided to support the request.
4. WHAT DOCUMENTS WILL I NEED TO ENROLL MY CHILD AT CHS?
Upon registration, parents/guardians must provide the following:
Child's official birth certificate;
Proof of residence (ex. 2 utility bills);
Students new to Sumter School District must provide a completed SC DHEC Immunization Form 2740.
Parents are encouraged to bring the child's most recent report card.
The child must be present in order to complete all steps of the registration process.
5. HOW CAN I ACCESS MY CHILD'S RECORDS/TRANSCRIPT?
Parents/guardians can view their child's academic and attendance records for the current year at any time by registering for Parent Portal.

Official transcripts can be requested using the Need My Transcript platform.
