From your principal...
Let's talk about the Summit @ Summit!! WOW! What an event!
As promised, students and parents were welcomed by an eager Summit staff, local business leaders and many Oregon college and universities!
We spent time together learning about FAFSA and our student college support network Naviance. Our afternoon wrapped up with a catered lunch and an extraordinary time spent with local author Mr. Greg Bell. If you were able to join us - we hope you enjoyed yourselves and took something away that has helped in one way or another. If you couldn't join us, please try to join us in September 2019. This is an annual event! Please see our photos below!
Now that winter term is well under way, please keep in mind the following:
If you haven't noticed a theme here - your advisors are AMAZING and here to help!!!!
Continue to work hard, ask questions, and stay healthy this term!

We are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Colleen Young to our Early College Team!
She is our new advisor for students attending Mt. Hood Community College. Colleen has worked in education for many years and brings to Summit some creative ideas, experience and a tangible passion for working with students.
Please meet Colleen:
Hello! My name is Colleen Young and I am your new Early College Advisor! Previously, I was the School-to-Career Coordinator at North Marion High School where I worked with students on their post secondary plans. I enjoy working with students and helping them navigate their high school course selections, keeping in mind their goals for their life after high school.
On a personal note, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, spending time with family and my two kittens.
I am looking forward to working with each one of you! -- Colleen Young
