SCA Virtual Prayer Walk

No purpose of God can be thwarted ...

We know that even though our calendar plans have changed, we know God is not surprised by what we have been through or what we continue to face every day.

Please join us in a virtual prayer walk for our Summit community as we continue to pray and prepare for the time we are back together.

Families

Pray for the health, safety and endurance of our students and families as they continue to adjust to online learning. Pray for those who have lost jobs that they would see God provide for every need.

Teachers/Staff

Pray for our teachers that in these uncertain times they can be inspired by God with innovative ideas that bring creative lessons to benefit our students. Thank God for their hard work to stay up to date so our students are ready for the next school year.

On the Front Lines

Pray for good health and safety for our nation's front line workers and responders. Pray also for their families, as many of them are unable to be with them due to health concerns.

Class of 2020

Pray for our Senior class as they are finishing their High School requirements and preparing for college. These uncertain times have changed many events for their senior year. Pray this opportunity builds strength and resilience of character.

SCA Community

Pray for the future events and places where Summit families will gather and have great moments of community building.

Athletics

Pray for our Athletic Department and all the adjustments each department has had to make. Pray for our students that are missing opportunities to compete and train with one another.

Fine Arts / Performing Arts

Pray for the Fine Arts and Performing Arts Departments that had to cancel competitions and Spring shows.

Innovation

Pray for our newly added innovation department. Pray for those that keep the tools working that help connect us. Pray for students that learn tech fast that they can help family and friends.

Leadership

Pray for all leadership as they guide our nation, state and school. Pray also for the safety of us all during this time of shelter in place.

Loss

Pray for families struggling with all kinds of loss brought on by the pandemic. Pray also for those with family members in the hospital who are sick and are alone.

Do Not Be Anxious

Matthew 6:25-35 - These verses should give us all the reassurance we need to know that He is always in control no matter what things look like. He is sovereign. He is not surprised by these happenings. He has a plan...we just need to lean in and trust it.

Philippians 6: 4-6 "... and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Send your peace, Lord!

Reach Out and Say THANK YOU

Ideas to serve those around you

1. In prayer, ask God to give you the names of those that need someone to check in on them. Reach out to them and encourage them. Sometimes just a voice and a listening ear can bring encouragement and comfort.

2. Pray for and with others.

3. Porch drop offs - If you have what someone needs or can run an errand for a neighbor or friend. Don't forget - wear your mask and be covid19 safe.

4. Send notes of encouragement via email, video, text, artwork on the sidewalk. Be sure to tag us on FB, Instagram, etc. (Artwork by Sarah Fitzpatrick) Let's spur one another on with Gratitude!

5. Let us know if we can be praying. We are here for you. Email us at prayer@summiteagles.org.
