Summit Academy is a non-profit public school that serves K-8 students diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, and other related disorders. Our mission is to build hope, success and well-being through education and advocacy for children with special needs.
Our school was created to help struggling students with special needs achieve academically and thrive socially. As a result of attending Summit Academy, our students transition to high school filled with promise, hope and a newfound confidence in themselves. We achieve this by providing a safe learning environment and providing a holistic curriculum.
Each class is staffed by two highly skilled and compassionate teachers who meet students where they are developmentally. Our school is a safe haven for our student – a place for them to grow socially, emotionally, and academically. We take a therapeutic approach to education and foster belonging and acceptance for every child. Here, children who struggle in a traditional school setting typically thrive.
