NJ FamilyCare Provides free or low cost insurance for uninsured children and certain low income parents. For more information please call 1-800-701-0701 or visit http://www.njfamilycare.org to apply or contact your school secretary for more information.
GRACE’s Pantry provides free produce, dairy, hygiene items and staple groceries every Thursday at the SUMMIT COMMUNITY CENTER 100 Morris Ave. Distribution is 11am-1pm and 4pm-7pm. Please visit info@gracegivingreceiving.org or call 908-259-4744 for additional information. Grace’s Pantry can help if families are in need of specific clothing or household items or supplies, can help with utility needs or issues, rental assistance, help with benefits, school advocacy or tutoring, and can provide referrals for legal counsel.
Daily breakfast programs are offered at Summit High School, LCJ Summit Middle School and Jefferson Elementary School every Monday through Friday. Please contact your school secretary for more information.
The Community Food Bank of NJ provides boxes of shelf stable groceries. Please contact your school secretary to register.
