Summit Public Schools is hosting a Parent Focus Group to support the ongoing strategic planning process. This is a voluntary opportunity for parents of current students attending Summit Public Schools to share their perspectives in an interactive manner. Your feedback will be instrumental in identifying the District’s strengths and areas for growth, which will help shape our goals and ensure that Summit Public Schools continues to thrive in the years ahead.

The District is hosting a strategic planning general session on Wednesday, October 16, at 6:30 p.m. in the Summit High School cafeteria. All stakeholders (students in grades 4-12, parents, teachers, staff, and Summit community members) are invited and encouraged to attend. This session is an opportunity for the community at large to participate in the District's strategic planning process. At this session we will review the following:
1. What is strategic planning?
2. What is the role of a core team?
3. Participate in a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis activity.
