Course Description:
In Spanish 5, This course aims to help students acquire communications skills at the intermediate level in both oral and written Spanish through the interpersonal, interpretative and presentational modes. The course focuses on developing communicative ability in the areas of describing, comparing, reacting and recommending, narrating in the past, expressing likes, dislikes and preferences, hypothesizing and discussing the future.
We will be covering the following thematic units in Spanish 5:
Unit 1 - Percepciones e impresiones
Unit 2 - Nuestras raíces
Unit 3 - Las relaciones humanas
Unit 4 - Las obligaciones y el tiempo libre
Unit 5 - Participación cívica y acción global
YOUR GRADES ARE BASED ON:
Interpretive → 30%
Interpersonal → 30%
Presentational → 30%
Class Participation → 10%

CLASSROOM RULES:
