Summit High School Theatre

Summit High School has been a prominent name in high school performing arts across New Jersey, the country, and the globe. We have been celebrated with countless honors from institutions such as Papermill Playhouse, Montclair State University, and the FRINGE Festival. We take pride in storytelling, sharing important messages, and learning valuable life lessons with each and every production. 

SHS's high-caliber productions are wholly due to the enormous amount of parent, student, and faculty dedication put into each show. Everyone, from those involved with the costume and set crews to the actors onstage, works long hours to ensure that, come showtime, the Summit Community will be fully entertained by the magic of live theatre.  

Furthermore, SHS’s Performing Arts Program could not put on the productions it does without the support of the Summit Performing Arts Resource Committee (SPARC), the Summit Board of Education, the Summit Educational Foundation (SEF), Hilltopper Stage Productions, a numerous amount of parent helpers, and of course, the Summit community as a whole.
