About Art Class
Students will be learning about elements of art which include: line, shape, color, value, form, and space. They will also be using principles of design that include: balance, emphasis, variety, harmony, rhythm, and unity.

Students will explore different medias of artmaking such as: drawing, painting, printmaking, oil pastels, chalk, markers, and sculptures. Students will also be studying famous artists and their works of art.

Smocks
Smocks will be provided in school. The smocks are sleeveless (as seen below). If you would prefer your child to have a more covered smock, you may supply one from home to be kept in the art room.
