Welcome to the Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School Orchestra page. Below you will find performance dates and other important resources.
Student Information
Students are expected to bring their instrument, other instrument related supplies (rosin, shoulder rest, endpin anchor, etc.), lesson book, and a pencil to every lesson. If you forgot to bring your instrument please come see Mr. Reilly or reach out via email or Google Classroom so we can find a solution for the day.

Lesson Book
Please Purchase Essential Elements for Strings Book 2 for your child's instrument (Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass). Your child WILL NOT be able to use a book meant for a different instrument. Please buy carefully! Information on purchasing the lesson book should have been sent to parents around the begining of the school year; if you did not receive this email, please reach out to Mr. Reilly! Please email Mr. Reilly if you have any additional questions!

Tuesday, December 8 - LCJSMS Winter Concert (7th Grade and 8th Grade)
Wednesday, January 20 - LCJSMS 6th Grade & Select Ensembles Concert
Wednesday, May 12 - LCJSMS Spring Concert #1 (6th Grade and 7th Grade)
Thursday, May 13 - LCJSMS Spring Concert #2 (8th Grade)
Concert Attire/Dress:
Gentlemen: Black pants (no jeans), black button down shirt (long-sleeve), black socks, black dress shoes (no uggs).
Ladies: Black pants (no jeans), black skirt/dress with black leggings, black blouse, and black dress shoes (no uggs).
