What can we expect in our classroom environment? How can we ensure EVERYONE is respected in our classroom environment!
Teachers and Students both deserve respect, compassion, and understanding! To ensure this, we must....
Be ON TIME! When the bell rings, you should be in your seat with necessary materials out.
Be RESPECTFUL! Don’t speak when others are speaking, acknowledge other students comments and listen attentively!
Try EVERYTHING! Even if something may not be your cup of tea, you are expected to give everything a good shot!
Be ACCEPTING, it is NEVER acceptable to judge someone or be unkind! Our classroom is a safe space, treat it as such.
Leave your worries at the door! Theatre and film are spaces to feel free and learn about yourselves and others. Leave your anxieties about “looking silly” or making mistakes at the door; looking silly and making mistakes are what make it fun!
