About Me

Ms. Bernadette Burke is a singer, musician, and educator in the Union County, NJ area. She earned her Bachelor's of Music from Rutgers University in 2016, and her Master's in Music Education from Montclair State University in 2024.

Ms. Burke completed her student teaching internship at LCJSMS, Lincoln-Hubbard, and Jefferson schools here in Summit. She also worked with the SHS Marching Band Color Guard from 2016-2021. 

Ms. Burke enjoys learning new musical instruments and the latest is guitar. When she's not teaching or playing music, you could find her doing yoga, reading on the beach, planning her upcoming wedding (November 2025) or cheering for her favorite Rutgers and Philadelphia sports teams!
