How do I prepare for the ACT?

Ask your School Counselor or Dr. Calhoun about ACT Study Tips/Practices
Request one-on-one tutoring with teachers in academic classes (Math, Science, English, Reading)
There are 4 parts to the ACT:
English-45 minutes-75 questions
Math-60 minutes-60 questions
Reading-35 minutes-40 questions
Science-35 minutes-40 questions
*Students who are eligible for a ACT Fee Waiver may qualify for an additional free ACT. Please see your School Counselor for details.
College Readiness ACT Benchmarks
18 or higher-English
22 or higher-Reading
19 or higher-Math
23 or higher-Math
21 or higher- Student qualifies for HOPE Scholarship and is considered a Ready Graduate
