Here is a game for almost any grade level. You can find the instructions in my sub notebook under the "Extra Games" tab. If you're having them sing along with me in the video for each round, watch the whole video yourself then you can start it at 2 minutes and 41 seconds for them to sing along with. (P.S. I really should've picked the thumbnail for this video lol.)
Game idea for 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade
Here are instructions for a game called "pass the beat a-round the room". My students have played it before so they will be able to get in the circle and sit nicely in the floor. They can tell you how to play without even needing to watch the video but I posted it just in case. Unlike in the video, they're used to saying "shh" instead of the word "rest" like in the video. You can give it a try and play for as long or as few rounds as you'd like! They love this game!!
