Welcome!

I am thrilled to welcome you all to the fascinating world of 8th grade science! 

In our 8th grade science class, we will embark on a journey of discovery as we explore the wonders of the natural world. Throughout the year, we will cover a range of scientific topics, including structure of atoms, forces and motion, electromagnetic forces, introducation to waves, light, information technologies, natural selection, evidence of evolution, exploring the universe, dynamic earth, and natural hazards..  I hope my classroom can be a place of exploration, where we will engage in some hands-on activities and have meaningful discussions.

In my class, we will focus on cultivating skills such as time management, organization, responsibility, and effective communication.  Together, we will create a positive and inclusive learning environment where everyone feels valued and respected.

Remember, it is through facing challenges that we grow and learn.  Making mistakes is a natural and important part of the learning process, and I will create a supportive environment where it is safe to take risks, ask questions, and learn from both successes and setbacks.

I am truly excited to embark on this educational journey with each one of you.  Let's make this year a memorable one filled with curiosity, wonder, and discoveries!
