Hello!

My name is Mrs. Kind, and I teach art from kindergarten to 5th grades.

I have a Bachelor in Fine with a concentration in drawing from College of Charleston, a Masters in Education from East Tennessee State University, and an Educational Specialist (EdS) degree in Educational Leadership from Union College.

The 20-21 school year will be my twelfth year as a teacher. I began teaching in 2009 at Ketron Intermediate School where I taught grades 5th, 6th, and 7th. I moved to North Middle in 2011 and taught 7th and 8th grade, and I also taught 6th grade at Brookside the same year. From 2012 to 2018, I taught 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at the middle school.

In September of 2018, I began teaching at Miller Perry Elementary School, and I have loved every minute of it! I look forward to another wonderful year of creativity!
