Communication goes a long way. Talk or email with your teacher(s) for clarification, guidance and instruction.

If additional clarification is needed, check in with your counselor and/or have your parent communicate with your teacher(s) via phone or email.

ON CAMPUS: shs peer TUTORING

If you need help with any of your classes, chances are we have a tutor to help you!  Our friendly, helpful tutors are available from 7:30am-8:15am and 3:30-4:15pm on Tuesday and ThursdayS in Room 111. 

Off Campus Tutoring

Free tutoring!  Do you need help? These are free vtutoring sources that students can access.  

Brainfuse HelpNow which is offered through the Shasta County Library to any library cardholder.  Live virtual tutoring is available Monday-Sunday from 1PM to 10PM. 

Hope City offers group tutoring/mentoring for 9th graders 1-2 hours a week with a group of up to three students online. 50% focus on building relationship and addressing emotional/social issues and 50% focus on academic support. Can be during school hours or after school. They also offer One-on-One Mentoring for Ages 10-17 [online or in person]. One-on-one mentoring with a positive adult for 1-2 hours per week. 100% focus on building relationship and addressing emotional/social issues. After school hours
