Strategies for Success

• Students 

  • Attendance - attend school!

  • Use a planner

  • Develop a homework routine and follow it!

  • Turn your phone off while studying or doing homework 

  • Communicate with the teacher when you are not understanding the material, did poorly on a quiz/test, or when you are absent.

  • Check Aeries - review grades and check on missing assignments/tests

  • Get a good night sleep and eat a healthy diet

  • Positive attitude

• Parents 

  • Ask your students to show you their Google Classrooms and grades in Aeries 

  • Support daily attendance

  • Read the daily bulletin

  • Keep your eye out for Parent Square emails 

  • Designate a quiet place at home, free from distraction, as a study zone.

  • Email or call the teacher and/or counselor if there are any concerns or questions.

  • Check Aeries to keep up on grades and assignments.
