Hi there! My name is Michelle Kornrich and I am the general education teacher in the first grade integrated classroom at Nassau. Mrs. Linsday Mechanic is my wonderful co-teacher and the best sidekick ever! This is my fourth year teaching first grade here at Nassau. I come with 7 years of experience in a variety of grades -- teaching the majority of my career in third grade. I am dual certified in elementary and special education and have a Masters degree in Reading Instruction. Currently, I'm in graduate school again for School Leadership!

In my classroom, everything I do, and push my students to do,  is centered around a simple belief: we are all about becoming better learners, communicators, and individuals. I am so excited for a wonderful, fun-filled school year with your incredible students!
