Dear Third Grader, June 2025
We hope you have a wonderful summer and that you are starting to look forward to third grade. We are sure you will have lots of fun. We are excited to be your teachers, and it is going to be a wonderful school year. We will learn and do many new things! Here is a list of school supplies you will need to have in September:
School Supplies
a small plastic supply container (small enough to fit in your desk, please)
1 box of crayons (no more than 24 count)
a pair of scissors
2 composition notebooks- one yellow and one red, wide ruled
4 plastic pocket folders-1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 red, 1 green as well as one folder of your choice for unfinished work
2 packages of pencils (more are always welcomed- we can store them here) Ticonderoga works the best
an eraser or a pack of pencil-top erasers
1 pack of 4 dry erase markers; large size
One new sock to use as a dry eraser
1-2 highlighters
a pair of earbuds or headphones that fit into a Chromebook (labeled in plastic ziploc)
4-6 glue sticks
*Optional: storage bags/ziplocs, tissues, colored pencils
Please remember to bring a healthy snack on the first day of school. You should bring a water bottle to school each day. **Only water bottles that can fully close should be used in school**. We look forward to seeing you very soon! Have a wonderful summer!!
