Dutchess County Department of Community & Behavioral Health (Resources through Dutchess County)
Children's Single Point of Access (C-SPOA) Application through Dutchess County: CSPOA helps connect your child to a wide variety of supports, services, and programs in Dutchess County based on the identified needs of the child or adolescent, and the family.
The goal of CSPOA is to strengthen and empower children, adolescents, and their families so they can lead safe, productive lives. By making connections to the best supports and services for your child, we can greatly reduce hospitalizations and residential placements for our County’s youngest residents.
CSPOA services include: Home & Community-Based Services (Individualized Care Coordination, Respite, Skill-Building, Family Support, Intensive In-home Services, Crisis Response), Health Home Care Coordination (For families who have Medicaid, Links to community supports that will help build on the child’s strengths and improve their coping skills, Medicaid Service Coordination (Care Management) for children ages 5 through 21 who meet qualifying conditions, Children Family Treatment Supports and Services (CFTSS). These may include crisis intervention, community psychiatric supports, psychosocial rehabilitation, family and peer support, youth peer support and other licensed practitioner (OLP)), Case Management (For families who have private health insurance, Links to community supports that will help build on the child’s strengths and improve their coping skills, Limited spaces available, Residential Treatment Facility (RTF) application processing for children or adolescents who require a higher level of services)

You can always check with your insurance provider directly for covered providers and/or check with your child's pedicatrician for a referral.
